“Now yoga. I have done everything — and now, yoga.”
This simple sutra holds so much truth. It’s the moment when all doing quiets, and being begins.
When I first started sketching the ideas for Designed Yoga, I wasn’t holding a pencil — I was in Downward-Facing Dog. Somewhere between breath and stillness, the thought arrived: this is all I want, this is all I should do next. It wasn’t an idea to be built, but something to be remembered — a call from the creative self that had always lived quietly inside me.
That’s what intuition is — a pulse beneath logic, a voice that speaks through sensation rather than thought. You can only hear it when you slow down enough to notice its rhythm. Through yoga, breath, and mindful awareness, we begin to listen — not to the world, but to the self that exists beyond noise.
Designed Yoga grew from that listening. It’s a space to explore who you are beneath habit and expectation — a bridge between art and embodiment, thought and feeling. When you move with awareness, breathe with intention, and create without judgment, you return to the artist within — the one that has always known how to express truth without needing to explain it.
Practices for Intuitive Connection
1. Awareness — Transmute, Don’t Deny
When emotion arises, don’t rush to label it. Simply feel where it lives in your body — the warmth, the flutter, the vibration. Awareness turns raw emotion into wisdom, and presence into peace.
2. Breath — The Refinement of Energy
Morning: Practice Nadi Shodhana (alternate-nostril breathing) to balance inner energies.
Evening: Practice Bhramari (humming bee breath) to soften thoughts and settle into stillness.
Breath becomes the artist’s tool — shaping energy from chaos into calm, from tension into flow.
3. Heart Meditation — Return to Center
Place your hands over your heart and visualize light expanding with each inhale.
Repeat softly: “I honor love in its purest form — freedom, respect, and connection.”
This daily ritual awakens compassion and keeps creativity rooted in openness.
4. Asana Flow — Movement as Art
Move through heart-openers and hip releases with curiosity. Backbends to invite courage, forward folds to ground, child’s pose to surrender. Let breath guide motion. Every pose is a brushstroke — together they paint the landscape of your inner world.
5. Expression — The Mirror of Creation
After practice, write, draw, or move freely. Creativity is not a skill — it’s a reflection of awareness. Through expression, emotion becomes texture, and intuition becomes voice.
Living the Practice
Designed Yoga is not about perfection or control. It’s about remembering. Remembering that your body is made of nature, that your intuition is a compass, and that creation begins the moment you truly listen.
When you move in awareness, you realign with the natural intelligence of life — the same rhythm that moves the waves, blooms the flowers, and breathes through you. From that place, clarity unfolds naturally: what to create, who to connect with, and where to go next.
The more you listen within, the more life outside begins to harmonize — in health, in relationships, in purpose.
Peace, creativity, and connection are not things to chase. They are the natural outcomes of being in tune with yourself.
Mantra
“I am aware, creative, and whole. I listen within, and life flows in harmony around me.”
Designed Yoga is a path back to yourself — through movement, awareness, and art. It invites you to meet your intuition again, to play with it, and to create from the quiet truth within.
