Every journey begins with a moment of stillness — and Designed Yoga was born in one of those moments.
Back in 2020, while I was studying Digital and Interaction Design at Politecnico di Milano, I traveled to Toronto for a project. Soon after, the world changed — lockdowns began, and I found myself confined in a small apartment in Milan, finishing my master’s thesis, searching for a job, and trying to stay healthy.
During those uncertain days, yoga became my anchor. I started practicing Vinyasa yoga every morning, finding calm in movement and strength in stillness. Yoga helped me stay grounded, creative, and emotionally connected. It wasn’t just exercise — it became my way of navigating change.
From Design to Inner Design
My studies were about multi-sensory and interactive design — creating experiences that connect people, technology, and nature. As I practiced yoga, I began to see parallels between designing spaces and designing the inner self. My thesis, “Audiovisual Experience: How Technology Can Empower the Dialogue Between Artist and Audience,” explored how interaction can make art more accessible and emotional — much like how yoga opens the inner dialogue between body, breath, and mind.
Through yoga and meditation, I began to find my voice, vision, and creative flow. Every breath became a brushstroke on the canvas of self-discovery.
A Journey Across Borders
In 2020, after graduating, I moved to Germany to start my career as a media designer and photographer. Living alone during another lockdown deepened my yoga practice — first with Vinyasa, then Ashtanga yoga, which grounded me in discipline and awareness.
Being surrounded by art and nature in Basel and southern Germany rekindled my love for painting and creative expression. I realized yoga and art were not separate — they were two languages of the same soul.
After two years, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with House of Om (Bali), studying Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga. Soon after, I created my first concept: combining yoga and art as a pathway to self-expression.
The Birth of Designed Yoga
After months of journaling, painting, and digital detox, Designed Yoga was born — a mindful platform connecting movement, creativity, and conscious living.
With the help of a dear friend, I launched my YouTube channel, sharing the 6 a.m. Vinyasa Challenge series that quickly grew into a beautiful online community.
In 2025, I traveled to Rishikesh, India, for my 300-hour teacher training, where I deepened my understanding of yoga philosophy and found the clarity to follow my purpose — to teach and create spaces where people reconnect with themselves through movement and art.
Flow & Create — Where Movement Meets Art
After returning to Germany, I founded Designed Yoga as an official brand, designing creative and healing experiences that unite yoga, art, and mindful living.
Our newest project — Flow & Create: The Impact of Art and Movement on Mind, Body, and Soul — brings this vision to life.
Every Wednesday from 29.10.2025 to 19.11.2025 (6:30–8:00 PM) at Freiraum Münster, we gather to move, breathe, and create. Through yoga, meditation, and artistic expression, participants reconnect with their inner child and rediscover their creative flow — especially during the colder season, when warmth and movement nurture both body and mind.
Designed Yoga is more than a practice — it’s a way of living artfully and mindfully.
It’s about finding harmony between creation and being, between doing and feeling.
Move. Breathe. Create. Express.
