An Artist Collaboration — Pom Pom Joe × Designed Yoga

On a radiant summer evening in Düsseldorf, Designed Yoga and local fiber artist Pom Pom Joe came together for a one-of-a-kind creative collaboration — Prism Soul, a multi-sensory experience blending yoga, art, color, and movement into a living, breathing expression of mindfulness and play.

Participants stepped into a vibrant sanctuary where each breath, sound, and color carried intention. Guided by Mia, the journey began with meditation and grounding, setting a collective intention for connection and release. Moving chakra by chakra, from root to crown, the flow evolved through Kundalini-inspired yoga flow, unfolding the body’s inner energy centers in rhythm with sound and light.

At the heart of the space, Pom Pom Joe wove his art into the movement, handing colorful pom poms to mark each chakra’s activation. With every release, a new layer of energy was expressed — red for grounding, green for love, violet for surrender. By the time the crown chakra was reached, the space was transformed into a temple of color, filled with laughter, breath, and presence.

This collaboration reflected the shared vision of Designed Yoga and Pom Pom Joe: to dissolve the boundaries between art and yoga, creating a mindful performance that invites healing through creativity. Together, they turned movement into meditation, art into energy, and play into transformation.

By the end of the evening, the audience gathered in stillness, surrounded by a field of colorful pom poms — each one a symbol of the seven chakras and the collective energy we built together. Every participant left with an open heart, a peaceful mind, and a soft handcrafted pom pom — a tangible reminder of inner alignment and joy.

Prism Soul was more than an event; it was a celebration of art, mindfulness, and collaboration, uniting two creative souls to show how color, motion, and love can heal and inspire.
