Embodied Expression
Movement · Sound · Intuitive Art Workshops
May & June 2026 | Cologne, Germany

Embodied Expression workshops in Cologne unfolded as intimate, slow spaces for healing through movement, sound, and intuitive creation. Held in a calm and supportive atmosphere at HEj.Leni Cologne, the workshops invited participants to soften their pace, listen inward, and return to the body as a place of intelligence and truth. Through gentle, yoga-based movement, the body was approached not as something to shape or fix, but as something to inhabit—moving with harmony, alignment, and quiet presence.

Each session wove together conscious movement and the resonant vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls, allowing the nervous system to settle and emotions to surface naturally. From this grounded state, intuitive painting emerged as a continuation of the embodied experience.

Working with acrylic paint on canvas and using hands instead of brushes, participants followed sensation, intuition, and impulse—letting colors, textures, and forms arise without expectation. The process was not about making art, but about staying with what was felt, allowing creation to become a form of listening.
All materials were provided, so participants could arrive empty-handed and open. Over the course of the series, a collective visual language slowly revealed itself—each canvas holding traces of presence, vulnerability, and connection. At the closing of the workshops, participants were invited to take their part of the painting home, carrying with them a quiet reminder of embodied awareness, intuitive trust, and the gentle power of creating from within.
